An entire neighborhood has been traumatized by the sounds of boots, tear gas …. Old people, big people, mothers, fathers and children exposed to the gases had respiratory irritation or breathing difficulties, … as well as eye problems. Nevertheless, today nobody knows the long- term teargas that represent health risks more serious in some cases.
Arhiba a martyr district under the current regime. Indeed, on 18 December 1991 in the area of citizens fell under the bullets of the forces with the deafening silence of the vast majority of Djibouti. Moreover, no investigation has been open to determine responsibility and punish the perpetrators of this crime there are more than 21 years.
